Going Live

The owner, at dashboard.stripe.com, with live mode on:

  1. Activate the account for live payments: business details and a bank account.
  2. Developers, API keys: copy the live secret key (sk_live_...).

The owner puts it in config/env/production.env, which is gitignored:

STRIPE_SECRET_KEY=sk_live_...

Then elements deploy (elements man deploy), and open https://<domain>/admin/payments once. The page connects with the live key, shows the Live badge, and registers the production webhook itself. There are no prices to recreate in live mode; they come from the app.

Sandbox and live never mix: a sandbox key cannot see live payments, and the payments rows from development stay in the development database.
