What am I paying for?

The tooling: the project server, the build, the test and job runners, the deploy. Runtime packages like @elements/app are MIT-licensed, and your app runs on plain Node.js without the tooling, so what you ship keeps working whether or not you keep paying.

What is founder pricing?

$50 is the founder rate. The price will eventually increase to $100 per license, per month for customers who come later. If you buy at $50, you keep that rate for as long as your subscription stays active, including licenses you add afterwards. Let it lapse and you come back at the going rate.

What counts as a machine?

Any computer that runs the elements tooling. That means your laptop while you develop, and each server you deploy to. A license stays checked out to a machine until you check it back in. Moving it to another machine is one command.

What's a license?

A license lets one machine use Elements, but it is not tied to that machine. You buy a pool at checkout, and your first purchase includes a free deployment license. Add or remove licenses later from your account. Any machine takes one from the pool with > elements license checkout, and > elements license checkin puts it back.

What if I add a machine mid-month?

You pay a prorated amount for the days left in the month, then the full $50 at renewal.

Subscription or one-time?

A subscription by default. Your licenses renew automatically each month. Turn off auto-renew at checkout to pay one month at a time, then renew whenever you want.

Can I try before paying?

Yes. The install page starts a 14-day trial on your machine. No credit card, no signup.
