This guide will show you how to install Elements from your terminal, create your first app, and start building with your AI agent.

1. 1Install Elements

   Sign up to get your install command. Already have an account? Log in

   Subject

   Username

   Generate

   Email

   Password

   I agree to the License Agreement, Acceptable Use Terms and Privacy Policy.

   Next: verify your email

2. 2Create a new app

   When the install finishes, paste this and press Enter.

   Terminal

   cd ~/elements/projects
   elements create myapp
   cd myapp
   

   macOSLinuxWindowsmacOSLinuxWindows

   It creates myapp in your projects folder and goes into it.

3. 3Start your app

   Paste this and press Enter.

   Terminal

   elements start
   

   macOSLinuxWindowsmacOSLinuxWindows

   Your app opens in your browser.

4. 4Build with your agent

   1. Leave elements start running. Open a new terminal tab.
   2. Go to your app's folder and start your AI agent there. For example, with Claude Code:

   Terminal

   cd ~/elements/projects/myapp
   claude

   3. Tell your agent what you want to build. For example: Build a todo app with email and password login.

   Any AI agent you start in your app's folder works with Elements automatically.
