Hello, I'm Chris and I created Elements. I'm so happy that you're here, and in this guide, I'm going to walk you through how to get set up with Elements and Claude Code so that you can build applications on your local computer. First, let me give you a quick history of where Elements comes from. I was the Chief Technology Officer of a FinTech company where we were processing hundreds of millions of dollars in transactions.

I built the first version of Elements there, and a couple of years later, I spun it out into its own company called Elements Dev Corporation. I've been working on it for over 10 years and I'm super excited to bring it to you. Now you might be coming from a vibe coding platform or you might be starting from scratch. Either way, don't worry, I'm going to be there with you every step of the way.

I think Elements is the best way today to build applications with an agent like Claude Code, and I'm going to show you exactly how to do that. So let's get started.
